The Midtown Academy is a public charter school that provides academic and social education to students in kindergarten through grade eight It is a member of the Baltimore City Public School System The school conducts educational courses in language arts humanities science geography math economics music Spanish and health and physical education The Midtown Academy maintains a staff of regular classroom teachers instructional associates and coordinators The school has a library that offers a variety of reading options for students as well as a cafeteria that provides food services The Midtown Academy has been operational since 1997 and is located in Baltimore
